Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. You will be responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Senior Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP.
Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Perform variance analysis and investigate discrepancies or unusual transactions.
Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as needed.
Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and tax professionals during audits and tax filings.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Mentor and train junior accounting staff as needed.
Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
